Behind every vibrant church is a team of dedicated volunteers.

At St. Martin-in-the-Fields, our Parish Council works alongside the clergy to help guide the life and mission of the parish. Together, they oversee areas such as finances, property, outreach, and long-term planning, ensuring our church remains a welcoming and faithful presence in the community.

Who forms the Parish Council?

Parish Council members are elected and appointed from within the congregation each year at the Annual Vestry Meeting (like an AGM) that usually takes place in late January or early February. Members serve by sharing their time, skills, and wisdom to conduct the businss of the parish between Vestry meetings. Their work is an important way that members of the church help shape our ministry and support everything that happens at St. Martin's.

Who should I ask if I have questions about the Parish Council?
