The Rev. Sarah Armstrong has been serving as the Rector of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London and the Associate Priest of St. Michael and All Angels, London since the autumn of 2023. She is also one of the Domestic Chaplains to the Diocesan Bishop. Prior to these appointments, Sarah served as Clergy Assistant to Bishop Townshend, and Priest-in-Charge of St. George's, Middlesex Centre.
Sarah is a graduate of Wylciffe College at the University of Toronto (M.Div. Hons.), where she met her husband, the Rev. Aidan Armstrong. She was ordained to the deaconate there at Founders' Chapel by Bishop Stephen Andrews in 2017, and was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Anne Germond at the Church of the Epiphany in Sudbury in 2019.
Before ordination, Sarah worked for the Salvation Army, Corps 614 in the Regent Park community of Toronto. She is committed to sharing the life-saving, world-changing, word of God with those in the most need and the least resources.
Sarah lives in Oakridge with her husband and four children, who are 7, 6, 4 and 1-years-old.
