We are pleased to report that Ian’s surgery went well. He is at home resting. Please pray for a good recovery. Also, prayer for Nancy as she supports him through his recovery.
This is a short newsletter with just a couple of items to bring to your attention.
Chris Arscott Has Passed Away. We extend our prayers and sympathy to the family of Chris Arscott, who died peacefully at University Hospital on 2 January 2026 at the age of 82. Chris is remembered with gratitude, and we offer our condolences to Susan, John, Claire, and all of Chris's loved ones.
Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him.
Choral Evensong for the Eve of Candlemas will take place on Sunday, February 1 at 4:00 pm. All are warmly welcome to this evening of prayer and music, in the tradition of the Book of Common Prayer.
This sung liturgy includes choral anthems, psalms, and Scripture readings, all of which invite peaceful reflection in celebration of the presentation of Christ in the Temple. St. Martin-in-the-Fields is pleased to welcome the Ven. Dr. Stephen McClatchie, Archdeacon Episcopal Office, as officiant.

Vestry Save the date for our annual Vestry meeting, which will take place this year on Sunday, February 15 following the service.
