  23 &amp\; Saturday\, October 24\nLocation: St. Paul's Cathedral\, London\
nDiocesan Synod is taking place this weekend at St. Paul's Cathedral. Obse
rvers are welcome to tune into the livestream embedded below\, or via the
Diocesan Website. \n\nAn Anglican diocesan synod is the principal represe
ntative body through which a diocese\, the regional jurisdiction overseen
by a bishop\, deliberates and makes decisions about its common life and mi
ssion. It brings together clergy and lay representatives from local congre
gations\, alongside the bishop\, to consider matters of theology\, governa
 nce\, ministry\, and finances\, with authority defined by the church’s c
onstitution and canons. It is both a governing body and an expression of t
he Anglican conviction that the church’s life should be discerned collab
oratively by bishops\, clergy\, and laity.
